The Sluggers game against the Rams Black is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Walnut Creek field 3.

Tournament games will tentatively start at 4:00 p.m. at Walnut Creek fields for 8U.

The revised bracket is not out so game times are not available.

All championship brackets will be played out to the right. Games to the left will not be played. If a team loses in the first round, they are done.

FROM IOWA USSSA: After rain has ended, the championship brackets will be rescheduled and the teams will be given ample time to get to parks.

With a 4-3 win over the Prairie Hawk Orange, and a 6-3 win over the I.C. Torjans Gold, the Sluggers earn the 12th seed in the Gold Championship at the Iowa State Tournament.

The Sluggers first Gold bracket game will be Saturday (6/25) at 11:45 a.m. against the Rams Baseball Club Black.

If the Slugger win against the Rams, their next game will be Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. If the Sluggers lose to the Rams, they will play again on Saturday at 3:15 p.m.

The Line Drive NIT Pool Play Schedule has been released.  Here are the Sluggers’ pool games:

Friday 6/10 at 6:00 p.m.:  Missouri Hammers vs. Sluggers  (Walnut Creek Field 2)

Saturday 6/11 at 9:00 a.m.: Waukee Storm vs. Sluggers (Walnut Creek Field 5)

Saturday 6/11 at 2:15 p.m.:  Sluggers vs. Ankeny Sox  (Walnut Creek Field 1)

Pool Play results will determine Championship seeding for Sunday.  There will be two Championship brakets (Gold and Silver).  There are 22 8U teams entered in the tournament.

All games will be played at Walnut Creek fields in Clive.  Map

The Sluggers earned the 5th seed for Sunday’s tournament play and will play the Urbandale Cobras at 9:00 a.m. at Prairie Ridge Softball Complex Field 45.

If the Sluggers win the first game, they will play again at 2:15 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

If the Sluggers lose to the Cobras, they will play one more game at 12:30 p.m.

The Sluggers will play two pool games on Saturday:

10:00 a.m. Sluggers vs. Inner City All-Stars (field 45)
1:30 p.m. Sluggers vs. Ankeny Sox (field 46)

All games are at the Prairie Ridge Softball Complex in Ankeny.

Sunday’s tournament seedings and games will be determined by the results of Saturday’s pool games. The first game will either be at 9:00 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. We will play at least two games on Sunday.
